Following the Prime Minister’s announcement that national lockdown restrictions will be lifted at midnight on Wednesday 2 December, and the designation of our location as a Tier 2 area, we’re delighted to confirm that we plan to reopen some of the Museums from 10am on Thursday 3 December.
We will open Blists Hill Victorian Town, Jackfield Tile Museum, Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron along with the visitor information hubs at Museum of The Gorge and the Iron Bridge Tollhouse and the Furnace Kitchen, Coalbrookdale.
Our Victorian Christmas Weekend events on 5 & 6 and 12 & 13 December will go ahead as planned and tickets are now on sale here. We’re offering a ‘100% Money Back Guarantee’ so if you buy tickets for this event but can’t come because of local lockdown restrictions or Covid-related illness we will give you your money back - find out more.
We will continue to offer a Covid-secure environment with an enhanced cleaning regime, hand sanitising & washing stations, timed entry slots, one-way routes and limited indoor access. We require all visitors to observe social distancing guidelines and to follow the Rule of Six.
