Crack the Code Prize Draw - Easter 2022

The aim of the Prize Draw is to randomly reward 3 prize draw entrants with Easter Prizes provided by The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust. Visit more than one of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust sites, enter the crack the code competition to be in with a chance of winning one of 3 prizes in the prize draw. Drawn on Monday 25 April at 10am.

By entering the Prize Draw you consent to being added to our electronic mailing list. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at anytime by clicking 'Unsubscribe' on the email footer or by emailing data.protection@ironbridge.org.uk 

A museum admission ticket is required to take part in this Prize Draw but there is no additional purchase or payment needed. Entries will be made void where prohibited by law and/or were not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Entry into the Prize Draw is deemed full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions and the Promoter and Administrator's decisions, which are full and binding in all matters relating to the Prize Draw. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not enter the Prize Draw. Please save or print a copy of this page for your records.

3. Promotion Period

The Prize Draw commences at 10am, Saturday 9 April 2022 and runs until 5pm, Sunday 24 April 2022. The draw will be held on Monday 25 April at 10am.

4. Eligibility

The Prize Draw is open to UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) citizens and/or permanent residency holders. Participants must be at least 18 years-old at the time of entering the Prize Draw or under the supervision of an adult 18+ years to enter. Employees of The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and their immediate families (being limited to spouses, parents and children) of the Promoter, their agencies and companies associated with this Prize Draw are not eligible to enter.

All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Prize Draw. Using a false name or email address will result in disqualification.

Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set out in these terms and conditions.

The Administrator and the Promoter reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering or facilitating others to tamper with the operation of the Prize Draw, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Administrator or the Promoter to be in violation of the terms and conditions, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Administrator or Promoter to be disruptive.

5. Prize Winners

Winners of the three prizes that are available will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received from all valid Prize Draw entry forms following the close of the Prize Draw. One winner will be allocated one prize. The first name drawn will win the first prize, the second name drawn will win the second prize and the third name drawn will win the third prize.

The Winners will be notified via email or phone within 14 days of the Prize Draw. The Winners must contact the Promoter to claim their Prize within 7 days of the date of the email notifying them that they have won. If the Winner does not claim their Prize within this timescale, the Administrator reserves the right to offer the Prize to a randomly selected runner up.

Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements or these terms and conditions may result in forfeit of the Prize.

The three Prizes are non-transferable and are to be supplied to the notified Prize Winner. No cash or other alternatives will be offered for any Prize under any circumstances.

6.How to enter 

Participants are encouraged to visit more than one site inclusive of Blists Hill Victorian Town, Enginuity, Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, Coalport China Museum and Jackfield Tile Museum where they are able to complete a Crack the Code Competition sheet. Once participants have filled in more than one of the code answers, they are able to hand in their entry sheet to a member of staff at any of the sites.

7.About Entries 

The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of eligibility, proof of email address or proof of entry validity in order to claim the Prize. Proof of identification, email and entry considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

Incomprehensible and incomplete entries (as determined by the Promoter or Administrator) will be deemed invalid. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. The Promoter retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.

Entries must not contain anything which is calculated to bring the Promoter or its associated companies into disrepute or that in any way violates applicable laws and regulations or network standards.

8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries which are invalid, incomplete, illegible, lost or delayed in transit, or which fail to be properly submitted. Proof of sending does not constitute proof of receipt.

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion refuse to accept an entry. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or operation or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the promotion.

11. Data Protection

The Promoter will treat all other personal information obtained through each of the Entrants registration as private and confidential and will comply with the Data Protection Act. The Promoter's commitment to the Entrants privacy and the security of their personal information is outlined in the Promoter's privacy policy available on www.ironbridge.org.uk and the Entrant consents to the Promoter using personal data as per the terms of the privacy policy.

After the notification date, the names of the winners will be available by sending a self-addressed envelope to Easter Crack the Code, The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, Coalbrookdale, Telford, Shropshire TF8 7DQ.

Additional general terms

If for any reason the Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned for reasons (including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, prize partner withdrawal or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Prize Draw), and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Prize Draw or these terms and conditions, at any stage, as determined by The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust in its sole discretion, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment,. If the promotion is cancelled a notice will be published on the Promoter's social media pages and/or website.

The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, and/or its group companies is protected by international and UK copyright and other intellectual property laws.

These terms and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these rules (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issue.
