You can withdraw money from our free-to-use cash machine at Blists Hill Victorian Town or from the Co-op in Ironbridge town.

Assistance dogs are welcome to visit with you, other dogs are welcome at Blists Hill Victorian Town only.

Is there anything for kids to do?

During the school holidays there are great family friendly activities and drop-in workshops. Kids have their own Gallery here with fun activities and a dressing-up box.

Children must be accompanied by an adult whilst visiting.

Is the Museum suitable for visitors with disabilities?

  • There is accessible parking close to the museum
  • A ramp takes you to the entrance to the museum
  • The museum is on multiple levels however there is a passenger lift between them
  • Parts of the museum are outdoors, with cobbled yards
  • There is an accessible toilet on site
  • Ask on arrival for the best route to visit if using a wheelchair
  • There are many tactile exhibits around the museum, as well a 'talk boxes' featuring spoken interpretation
